About this event

Community is at the heart of the We Speak NYC ESOL video drama series, and the We Speak team would like to bring together a forum of educators to share your experiences using WSNYC videos and teacher resources. In the forum, we will share ideas and experiences as a whole, and also break into three interest groups on the following topics: using WSNYC videos and materials with lower-level learners; using WSNYC videos and materials in online classes synchronously & asynchronously; using WSNYC videos to teach particular language skills and/or functions. Please come with any methods and activity ideas (general or episode-specific) you would like to share, and/or questions you would like to ask. We are looking forward to seeing you, hearing your ideas and exchanging experiences. When you register, please indicate your first and second choice of interest group. We will organize groups on a first-come first-serve basis. We hope this will be the start of an ongoing forum for exchange and collaboration!

Facilitators: David Hellman, David Rowley, Sam Seifnourian

Audience: ESOL Instructors

To join: A Zoom meeting link will be sent to all registrants a few days before that will allow you to join the workshop.
